Parents in Ontario are dealing with unique challenges as schools across Ontario are closed until at least May 4th, 2020. Many school boards are working on eLearning solutions to reach their students. However, much of the province is geographically rural and remote with very different challenges to implementing elearning to students in these regions.

We need to come together to talk about the struggles that are unique to these regions, and find solutions to ensure that students in rural, remote and Northern regions aren’t further marginalized disavantvaged even in the midst of this pandemic.

Join us on Wednesday April 15th at 11am for our Rural, Remote & Northern eLearning: Struggles and Solutions Roundtable.

Joining us on the roundtable will be representatives of northern providers, Child and Community Resources (CCR), One Kids Place Children’s Treatment Centre, Four Directions Autism, rural provider Lanark Community Programs, as well as internet provider, Xplornet Communications.

Please share this with those who are concerned with the challenges of connecting our rural, remote and Northern students to their educators and fellow students during this time.

We look forward to seeing you on Wednesday April 15, 2020 at 11am.

Registration is now closed. The Roundtable is being recorded and will be available at a later date.
